Not much happening with us this week. We have been slowly making our way through all the family and friends that want to see Nick. Hopefully by the time February is over we will have seen everyone. I still have to go through the photos and upload them to Facebook for all my family and friends to see, but because the photos are so large it takes quite a while
I am really late of my February Goals this month… I will do it on Monday for those of you that are interested. There is a good chance that it will be the last one to contain blogging related goals as I am in the process of setting up a new website that should cover off on all that. I am thinking about moving to a VPS (virtual private server) as my resource utilisation on this website alone is quite large and when you consider the 4 other websites I run all on the same host, I must be eating up some serious resources.
Questions
Have any of you had any experience with using a VPS before?
Would you be interested in viewing my blog stats and income reports should I publish them on a different website so I can focus this one on personal finance.
Also, thank you to everyone that got back to me with ways to deal with advertising requests. Ironically this week it quietened down on its own anyway so I didn’t feel so overwhelmed by it.
Posts This Week
I had 4 posts this week:

Welcome to the Pool Room
Time for the Pool Room!
In case you don’t know what the pool room is, I explain it in this post.
2nd place this week goes to Budgets Are Sexy with a guest post by Eric titled Credit Score Dating Anyone? Essentially this post talks about a new dating website where prospective mates can find each other based on their credit report. Interesting idea.
3rd place goes to Grayson with The First Step to Recovery is to Admit You Don’t Have a Budget. I liked this post as i echoed my own views about honest budgeting and gives some great tips for people looking to start off their own budget.
Congratulations to this weeks winners – I hope everyone enjoys the posts mentioned above as much as I did.
For next week – If you think you have a top post and you want to make sure I see it, be sure to leave a comment somewhere on my blog and include the link in the Comment Luv section. I make sure I check every blog owners page if they have left a comment on my blog, so that’s a sure fire way to ensure I see your blog post.

I always love seeing blog stats and income reports

I won’t give out any URL’s here but I have 1 dedicated to my Android and IOS games. 1 to a horse racing website which I keep active for a couple of old subscribers. Another that is a niche website and this one.
MPB is by far the most visited but my horse racing one takes up almost 3Gb of data with all the stats over the last 5 years.
That is awesome that I am worthy of being put in the “pool room”! I am humbled that it made the #1 spot. Thanks Glen!

Not a problem. I’m just sorry I missed your post when you published it.
I did not realize that you run four other sites! I may look to do another in the future, but I could not imagine running that many right now. I just decided to stop doing my blogging goals posts myself. I think there’s not much in it for non blogger readers and it takes away a day that I can write on something else. That said, it is always nice to see how others are doing.

technically 3 other sites and this one. The others are all fairly static so they don’t require much work on my part.
I’m sure your family is really enjoying meeting your new baby. Have a great weekend!

I think we are starting to deal with the lack of sleep. It is good that I don’t have to go to work at the moment so I can take care of him when my wife has had enough.
Good luck with the kid! No experience with VS, but I am going to look into it for sure!

I’m finding not many people know about VPS.
I have no experience with VPS but I always love seeing other people’s blog stats.

I find it is only other bloggers that like looking at the stats and my regular readers don’t seem to enjoy it that much.
Thanks for the 3rd place spot Glen. I am honored to make it on the list. I really appreciate it and keep up the great work!

Not a problem Grayson
Hi Glen! I would be interested in viewing your goal updates on a different site, but think it’s ok to have them here too. It’s motivating for people to see others’ successes, I think. And I can’t thank you enough for mentioning on your last comment on my site to put the share buttons on there. I’m not very good at techy stuff, but a quick google search showed me which plugin to install and it was done within a few minutes. Thank you!!!!
