Many of my friends (both online and off) know that I love taking on new challenges and learning from people who I know have something valuable to offer. It’s a great way to not only learn new skills, it’s often an amazing networking opportunity and in my opinion it’s always worth investigating further.
So recently when Spencer at NichePursuits.com put a call out for people to be trained by him or one of his associates, I immediately took an interest and have since decided that I will throw my hat in the ring as a candidate to be considered.
I’d love to work with these guys (particularly Spencer) as I know there is so much they could teach me regarding building a diversified income stream, specifically in the field of niche sites.
The only reservation I’ve had about applying is that they require that you put a video of yourself online. It probably seems a bit odd to you guys who read my blog that I would have any reservations about doing this, but it’s a completely different situation writing my thoughts down on my blog than it is making a video and talking to people. It just doesn’t feel natural to me, however, if you guys think I do OK, I might consider doing some videos for this site.
So if you want to heckle me, you can view the video here. If you do decide to view the video (it’s under 3 mins) can you please up vote it, or head over to the niche pursuits facebook page and like the video? Any thing you can do to boost the likes on my videos would greatly assist me in making the final cut – so thanks to any of you who take the time to help me out. I appreciate any and all help you can provide me in taking part in this amazing opportunity and I promise to keep you all up to date if I do get selected.
Anyway, the point of this post is to encourage you to make the most of opportunities, even if the thought of doing so make you feel a little uncomfortable – you never know what will come of them and you won’t benefit if you don’t put yourself out there.
